I think, whenever the pendulum swings back again, things might get pretty good for the survivors.

...but that's not good enough. There shouldn't be something to survive from. There shouldn't be a situation where we just fend for ourselves for 4+ years. There shouldn't be an "opposition" who votes to censure Al Green. There shouldn't be a plan for the "opposition" to play possum. Doing nothing in the face of fascism is how people get murdered.

It's a shame that the best we can hope for is that the pendulum swings back. When it does, we need to be sure we're prepared for next time there's an opportunity to make a lasting change through revolution.
