Don’t stand for the USA anthem at sporting events. Boycott companies owned there.
Help allies there resist what is happening to their country.

The original developers of Disco Elysium that got booted by their corrupt CEO have uploaded the game to Archive.org, with the labels "anti capitalism" and "communism" and encouraging people to grab it for free.

People will criticize countries they've been taught to hate for censoring the internet — protecting themselves in part against American bad actors. We don't censor anything, they say. We can access any part of the internet we want!
Yeah, well, that's because when the United States wants to censor something, it just stops existing. And now we're living through the greatest bout of American censorship likely in history. Protect your data. Back up what is important to you. This isn't going to end nicely.
Given how fast valuable information is disappearing off the web under the new US administration, I wrote a short note about how to make offline backups of websites, from simple screenshots and PDFs to full backups using wget.

The CDC has instructed its scientists to retract or pause the publication of any research manuscript being considered by any medical or scientific journal.
The move aims to ensure that no “forbidden terms” appear in the work. Banned terms must be scrubbed.

Okay, so in Friendica, you can give your posts titles — which is awesome, makes it feel more like a blog potentially if you wanted to use it that way. But those titles don't work along with text in Mastodon, and maybe other ActivityPub settings, so unless you want your post to only be a hyperlink title to the microbloggers, you gotta just do the text thing. Which is fine I guess.
I'm still not actually sure if my profile picture is showing up for anyone but me. On my Mastodon account, I can't see it, which is odd. I wonder if it'll refresh at some point.
@Comrade Ferret Ohh yehh it can be rly annoying to set up
Do you have an MX record set up in the DNS? I checked for workersofthe.world and didn't see anything
Feel free to Matrix msg me ofc
Yeah, I did. I just removed it now, but maybe I did it wrong? I'll just message you.
Also still can't see my goddamn profile pic. I think I just have to wait for the Mastodon server (and others) to requery us. sucks.
Introduction!
I'm a #Marxist #marten ( #furry ) here to talk about politics, #tabletop games, #Linux, and to help along my fellow anticapitalists.
My politics are probably a little more insane than yours, but that's okay; workersofthe.world is open to all revolutionary anticapitalists who stand by the entirety of the working class without discrimination.
Give my Youtube channel a look; you'll get to know me pretty quickly through my incredible #Blender skills and unabashed #socialism .
