Almost every time you hear someone's story about leaving the far right, it's first and foremost because they were isolated. Not because someone schooled them in debate, not because they were shown love despite being a Nazi, but because their friends and family ditched their sorry asses, and then all they had were their innately treasonous Nazi friends — and then, inevitably, no one.

So no, turning the other cheek and "setting politics aside" is not the answer. The time for tolerance is long over, if it was ever there to begin with. Isolate the right.
