The trans cousin that I recently got back in touch with, who watched my cats for me while I was getting my surgery, just committed suicide last night. Wish I'd reached out more often. I know I may seem like a cold prick sometimes but y'all get into contact if you need it.

He was almost completely unaccepted by his family. Even getting the phone call, they were still referring to him in the feminine, using his deadname. He always seemed like he had it together when I spoke with him, but this, the separation from his family, weighed on him severely even then. And sometimes, this is what happens.
