Actually surprised sometimes on how fast my Thinkpad X230 is for its age (not very, but still quite usable by my standards)

I recently got some Chinese clone of that phase change thermal interface material the gamers have been so excited about and put it in this thing and now it can turbo full-time with temps in the mid 70s hehe

I rly wish I had any non-PC hardware that could match this thing....... maybe one day I can afford one of those Chinese RISC-V laptops if we don't do WW3 by then

I wrecked the Intel ME and installed Coreboot in my X230 but I still wish I could be free of this wildly overcomplicated Zionist computer technology and its many security problems and (presumably) NSA backdoors. It's just too cozy of a laptop to give up for me rn
